The New Lebron 9 Cannon
Thank God for the upcoming Lebron 9 basketball shoe! Granted, this highly anticipated shoe hasn’t actually dropped yet, but already some of the sickest colorways ever seen are on their way. The “Scarface” and “China” will soon make their way to the marketplace in the next couple of months. And there will most certainly be many more on the way. In fact, there is a new colorway that is already creating a buzz amongst the sneaker community. A colorway that is flaunting itself down the sneaker circuit runway. The new Lebron “Cannon” colorway is in reference to the color Nike calls Cannon and is a combination of green and blue. Cannon is used on most of the shoe’s upper while slate blue covers the toe and side panels. Team Orange and Volt are used as accents on the shoelaces, heel tab, and outsole to complete the shoe.
It looks like Nike is going to make a strongly concerted effort to put more time and energy into the construction, number of colorways, and promotion of the new Lebron shoe this year. Although the last couple of years Nike has brought us some pretty sick Lebron signature shoes in equally sick colorways, this looks to be a banner year for the Lebron signature shoe. In addition to the sick colorways, the Lebron 9 offers the highest in perfomance standards that are built into a Nike shoe. For the first time on a Nike basketball shoe, the Nike Flywire and Hyperfuse technologies will be used on an upper in it’s construction. You can thank Jason Petrie and his design team over at Nike for that.
It also appears that Lebron is making a concerted effort to improve his game and be much better prepared when he and the other professional ballers do eventually hit the hardcourt. We all saw a Lebron James who was unwilling to step up and take control of games down the stretch in last season’s NBA Finals. Could playing in celebrity games address this issue. Probably not. But if it does Lebron has got that covered. Most recently King James played in the “Battle for I-95” in Philadelphia along with fellow superstars Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul. Sporting a pair of an exclusive colorway of the Nike Air Max Lebron 8 PS, Lebron led his the way with 43 points and 23 rebounds. King James did do some work that night, however, it is going to take a lot more if Lebron wants to get his first championship ring.
For now, the sneaker world has plenty of sick new Lebron 9 colorways to look forward to. This Cannon colorway and many more Lebron 9 colorways are destined to be “must have” kicks for most avid sneakerheads. This shoe is easily the best pair of Nike shoes for basketball that will be dropped in the upcoming months.
